- • 3 lbs bone-in chicken thighs
- • 1/2 cup honey
- • 1/4 cup soy sauce
- • 1/4 cup ketchup
- • 6 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- • 2 tablespoons water
- • Sesame seeds for garnish
- • Green onions, sliced
- • Rice for serving
Instructions
- Step 1: Place chicken thighs in slow cooker in a single layer.
- Step 2: Whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour over chicken.
- Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Step 4: Remove chicken to a platter. Skim fat from sauce.
- Step 5: Mix cornstarch with water. Stir into sauce and cook on high 15 minutes until thickened.
- Step 6: Spoon sauce over chicken. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve over rice.
