Chicken Stir Fry - Dinner recipe

Ingredients

  • • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • • 1 cup snap peas
  • • 2 carrots, thinly sliced
  • • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Toss sliced chicken with 2 tablespoons soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate 10 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Whisk together the stir fry sauce: 3 tablespoons soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Set aside.
  3. Step 3: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Cook chicken in a single layer for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Step 4: Add remaining oil to the wok. Stir-fry carrots and broccoli for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Add bell pepper and snap peas, stir-fry 2 more minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Step 6: Add garlic and ginger, cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Step 7: Return chicken to the wok, pour in the sauce, and toss everything together. Cook 1-2 minutes until sauce coats everything.
  8. Step 8: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve over steamed rice.
