- • 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- • 12 oz linguine pasta
- • 4 tablespoons butter
- • 3 tablespoons olive oil
- • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- • 1/2 cup dry white wine
- • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- • Lemon zest from 1 lemon
- • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
- Step 2: Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 3: Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from pan.
- Step 4: Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 5: Pour in white wine. Simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits.
- Step 6: Add remaining butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Swirl until butter melts into a silky sauce.
- Step 7: Toss in pasta and shrimp. Add pasta water as needed. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
