Sundubu Jjigae - Dinner recipe

Ingredients

  • • 1 package soft tofu (sundubu)
  • • 4 oz pork or mixed seafood
  • • 1 tablespoon gochugaru
  • • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • • 2 cups anchovy or seafood broth
  • • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • • 2 eggs
  • • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat sesame oil in a stone pot or heavy pot. Sauté garlic and onion.
  2. Step 2: Add pork or seafood, cook until done.
  3. Step 3: Add gochugaru and stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Pour in broth and bring to a boil. Add soy sauce.
  5. Step 5: Gently slide in soft tofu, breaking it into large chunks. Add zucchini.
  6. Step 6: Simmer for 5-7 minutes. Crack eggs on top just before serving.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with green onions. Serve immediately while bubbling, with rice.
