- • 2 carrots, diced
- • 1 cup frozen peas
- • 2 cloves garlic, minced
- • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- • 1 cup beef broth
- • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- • 3 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- • 1/2 cup butter
- • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions
- Step 1: Boil potatoes until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, cream, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Step 2: Brown ground meat in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
- Step 3: Add onion and carrots, cook for 5 minutes. Add garlic, tomato paste, and cook 1 minute.
- Step 4: Stir in broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
- Step 5: Stir in frozen peas. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 6: Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the meat filling. Use a fork to create peaks on top. Sprinkle with cheddar.
- Step 7: Broil for 5-7 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
