Ingredients

  • • 8 oz sweet potato glass noodles (dangmyeon)
  • • 6 oz beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • • 1 carrot, julienned
  • • 1 onion, sliced
  • • 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • • 2 cups spinach
  • • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook noodles according to package, drain and cut into shorter lengths.
  2. Step 2: Marinate beef in 1 tablespoon each soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil.
  3. Step 3: Sauté each vegetable separately with a little oil, seasoning lightly. Set aside.
  4. Step 4: Stir-fry marinated beef until cooked.
  5. Step 5: Combine noodles, all vegetables, and beef in a large pan.
  6. Step 6: Add remaining soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and garlic. Toss well over low heat.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve warm or at room temperature.
