- • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- • 1/2 cup soy sauce
- • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- • 1 Asian pear, grated (or 2 tablespoons pear juice)
- • 4 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- • 1 onion, sliced
- • 4 green onions, chopped
- • Sesame seeds
- • Lettuce leaves for wrapping
Instructions
- Step 1: Freeze beef for 30 minutes for easier slicing, then slice very thin against the grain.
- Step 2: Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, grated pear, garlic, and ginger for marinade.
- Step 3: Combine beef with marinade and onion. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
