- • 1 lb ground pork
- • 2 cups napa cabbage, finely chopped
- • 4 green onions, minced
- • 2 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- • 40 gyoza wrappers
- • Vegetable oil for cooking
- • Rice vinegar and soy sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Step 1: Salt cabbage, let sit 10 minutes, then squeeze out excess moisture.
- Step 2: Mix pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Step 3: Place 1 tablespoon filling in center of each wrapper. Fold and pleat edges to seal.
- Step 4: Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
- Step 5: Place gyoza in pan, flat side down. Cook until bottoms are golden, about 2 minutes.
- Step 6: Add 1/4 cup water, cover immediately, and steam for 4-5 minutes.
- Step 7: Remove lid, let water evaporate, and crisp bottoms again. Serve with dipping sauce.
