Ingredients
- • 1 lb ground pork
- • 1/2 lb shrimp, minced
- • 1 cup carrots, finely grated
- • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, minced
- • 3 green onions, finely chopped
- • 3 cloves garlic, minced
- • 1 egg
- • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- • 1 pack lumpia wrappers
- • Oil for frying
- • Sweet chili sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Step 1: Mix pork, shrimp, carrots, water chestnuts, green onions, garlic, egg, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Step 2: Place 1 tablespoon of filling on the edge of a lumpia wrapper. Roll tightly, tucking in sides.
- Step 3: Seal the edge with water. Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.
- Step 4: Heat oil to 350°F. Fry lumpia in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 5: Drain on paper towels.
- Step 6: Serve hot with sweet chili sauce.
